Just stop and think and take this in: each little thing we do
Affects the world, our only home, because of C-O-2

Make no mistake, this stuff’s for real, but can’t be seen and has no smell
Yet unless we get to grips with it, our future don’t bode well

We know that Climate Change is here, the science is done and dusted
But taking action (Listen, HEAR!) the Planet needn’t end up busted

There are lots of things we all can do not alone, in isolation
But across this country - AND the globe with great communication!

We need a sign, a character, someone to lead the way
To remind us all, in all we do to LIVE this EVERY DAY

Who is there now in Climate Change? Who’s centre of the floor?
He’s won the Nobel Prize, you know, that’s right – it’s him – Al Gore

He’s made this quest his own, protecting seas and lands – our Home
And knows full well this can’t be done by just one man, all on his own.

The efforts of this man alone have really been phenomenal.
Imagine if his noble quest could go BIG TIME with an animal?!

Yes, Governments and businesses will join us on the way
But it’s down to people, ALL OF US, to really have our say

To show the world this thing’s for real, to inspire us to take action
We need a focus, visual clue, to keep us from distraction

All our efforts, every single one all good habits, old and new
MUST show the world “THIS CAN BE DONE: To Knock Out C-O-2”

And there it is, within that line, tt sounds quite mad, perhaps absurd
The creature who will lead the way is a really, very special bird.

KOCO2 (like “Cockatoo”) he really is the one
To change the climate, save the world and also have some fun!

He’s on a journey, just like us to learn, like you and me
How is that we’ve all gone wrong how’s it really meant to be?

You see, money and technology are no longer in proportion
Accelerating problems all around we need to act with caution.

So come on in and look around and find some things to do
And see your place in this great race to Knock Out CO2
